A lot of businesses online or retail stores are interested in fragrance trends for the different seasons. Businesses capitalize on the information; to promote the fragrance that people will be buying. So, the businesses can make a profit. This article will tell you the best Spring Trends of 2007.
Why is the information important? Well, if you own a store or website this information is invaluable. I also own my own website, http://www.elitestopfragrances.com. I have to research articles from the internet and magazines every season to come up with a list for my website. This takes up a lot of time because with the fragrance trends, there are also new fragrances coming out each month or season.
Having a website that sells fragrances, I use the list for a few things. Here are a couple of them. First I make sure that I have all the fragrances on my website. Next I would try to promote each fragrance. One way of doing this is to have a sale on the fragrances or price them a little less expensive than the competition. Believe it or not a few cents cheaper may go a long way in bringing people to your store. Finally for your current customers, write a newsletter to promote the fragrances for that season.

With all the new fragrances coming out this year, which ones will you pick? The fragrance industry has been introducing over 200 new fragrances each year. Being a fragrance store owner, www.elitestopfragrances.com; it is very important to keep up on the new fragrances and trends in the industry.
In the last few years celebrities have been coming out with great fragrances including Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and many others. Celebrities have been changing the trends of the fragrance industry, lately. For example, if a celebrity has a hit movie or album and has a great smelling fragrance, the sales of the fragrances will increase dramatically. The more popular the celebrity is the better the sales of the fragrances.
The top winter celebrity fragrance trends of 2007 are Usher, Sean Combs, Gwen Stefani, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mariah Carey, Elizabeth Taylor, and Britney Spears. I chose these celebrities because of their great fragrances and celebrity status.
Usher has come out with new fragrance this year. Usher is one of the news celebrities to offer a fragrance for woman and men. Usher’s men’s collection, Usher‘s HE, opens up with verbena, pineapple and melon top notes. The mid tones are warm and sensual, with blue lavender, white pepper, and violet leaf. Vetiver, amber wood, black suede, sandalwoods, sensual musk and guaiacum wood create the underlying softness. Usher’s women’s collection, Usher’s SHE also has great top notes red currant, pink freesia and apple blossoms. The heart consists of frangipani, apricot nectar, blooming jasmine and rose. The base is balanced with amber wood, sensual musk, cashmere wood and incense.
Sean Combs’ new fragrances for women and men are Unforgivable. Unforgivable for women has a delicate blend of bergamot, orange flower, jasmine, and coco. Unforgivable for men has a crisp citus elements layered on top of a blend of wonderful herbs.
Gwen Stefani released L a L.A.M.B fragrance in September. Top notes consist of water hyacinth, violet leaves, fresh pear, and white freesia. The mid tones are rose, jasmine petals, orange blossoms, sweet pea and muget. The base is a sensual musk, hellotrope flower, peach skin, and frangipani blossoms.
Maria Carey first fragrance is M. Mariah Carey’s signature fragrance opens with combining a feminine veil of Living Tahitian Tiare flower wrapped in the aura of wet Gardenia petals. Sheer amber, infused with spicy, woody accents of Moroccan incense forms a seductive accord that embodies Mariah’s sensuality, beauty and glamour.
Sarah Jessica Parker second fragrance Covet, was released in July. The top notes are geranium leaves, chocolate, Sicilian lemon, lavender and wet greens. The heart consists of honeysuckle, magnolia, muget, bois de cashmere, and a dry down of musk, vetiver, amber and akwood.
Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds has been a classic seller for fifteen years. The top notes are Amazon Lily, Italian Neroli and Crisp Aldehyde. The mid notes are Egyptian Tuberose, Living Narcisse, Turkish Rose, Living Jasmine and Italian Orris . The base is an Amber, Oakmoss, Patchouli and Living Sandalwood. This makes it timeless classics that provide a rich, warm, sensual finish.
Britney Spears has a new fragrance called Believe. The top notes are of guava pulp and golden tangerine. The mid notes have A delicate blend of feminine honeysuckle is intertwined with hints of linden blossom. The base is a dry down with a balance of sophistication and youthful spirit, patchouli aura is wrapped in a wink of sensual amber and pink pralines.
I wanted to mention a celebrity fragrance that has not been release in the US. Kate Moss’s Kate was released in Europe, Middle East and Australia in early November. Kate has been doing extremely well overseas. I believe once Kate comes to US in 2008. It will do just as well. The Kate Moss fragrance includes top notes of orange blossom absolute, forget-me-not, pink pepper. The mid notes are lily of the valley, heliotrope, magnolia, peony, and rose. The base is patchouli, sandalwood, musk, vetiver and ambrette.
Finally, I hope this helps out other people selling fragrances this winter of 2007 and early spring of 2008. Fragrance trends are very important to my fragrance store, in which helps me decide which fragrances to advertise. Which fragrances will you pick?
My Time Warner Spiff
Ok so here i complain. I recently upgraded to Time Warners Road Runner Turbo. BIG MISTAKE. We have only had it for a little under a month and heres what is happening.
The day of install, cable express comes out, put a brand new wire from the pole right into the house and into the modem. Small distance. I run a speed test and we’re hoping all over the place. He said there was nothing he can do and bolts as soon as my husband jumps on the phone with support. They end up sending another tech out because we were running too high. He turned it down to +8 and our speeds were still jumping, he said there is a problem in the area with too many people on 1 node and the only way to get it fixed is to keep calling. Well hubs jumps on the phone with support again, we get boosted up to Tier 3 and they rule our my system and run ping plotter for an hour on our line. We are losing major packets. He then sends another tech out. This one comes out and puts a different ground on the side of our house and says he will put in a ticket with maintenence. And he gives us the phone number to the guy and told us to call the next day. The next day rolls around and we call and he said he will let one of his engineers know about the problem. That same day hubs jumps back on the phone with support, they said we had an all day open ticket of which somebody was spossed to come by. 8 pm rolls around, nobody shows up. He again calls up support and gets the “Well thats weird, one was scheduled” So they schedule another tech for friday. Friday rolls around, no tech yet again!. I emailed Tier 3, had their email since i was spossed to email him my speed results and this is what they email back:
There is currently an issue in your area. Our network Engineers have identified the problem and are currently working on getting a resolution. At this time I do not have an ETA on when the problem will be fixed however it is effecting not only you but several other people in your neighborhood. When we have an update on when the issue is going to be resolved someone from our Technical Support will be in touch with you.
